Applying Fine Bubbles to Plumbing Fixtures on Pleasure Boats

Product Name

Sport Utility Cruiser PONAM-31 Z-Grade

Effects of Ultrafine Bubbles

Water savings from the change in flow rate that occurs during UFB generation (approx. 14.3% reduction compared with the conventional system).

Water savings are also expected because the cleaning power of UFBs makes it easier to remove salt and other deposits.

Features

A UFB generator is installed on the outlet pipe of the fresh water tank so that UFB water can be supplied from all of the faucets on the boat.

The cleaning power of UFBs reduces the stress of having to save water and cuts water consumption. It also reduces the stress caused by salt and fish odors that are specific to marine mobility.
Depending on the situation, less reserve water may need to be carried on board, which can also help prevent poorer fuel efficiency.

Equipment Used

A cavitation-type UFB generator was adopted.
Installing the UFB generator on the main pipe that supplies water from the fresh water tank to each faucet, without major changes to the boat’s existing equipment, made the installation work inexpensive and quick.
